Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for a contract assignment in California. You will perform complex electro-mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies, interpret drawings and specifications, and use precision tools to ensure quality.

You will inspect, document non-conformances, and support coating and soldering tasks in a space-flight sub-systems environment. Minimum 3+ years reading aerospace manufacturing instructions, IPC standards, and experience with PCB assemblies are highly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3+ years reading blueprints and aerospace manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis.
• Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints and specs per procedures.
• Use precision calibrated tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
• Visually inspect assemblies to drawings and specs; ensure conformance to requirements.
• Document non-conformances and perform rework/repair as needed.
• Soldering and reworking of through-hole and SMT components.
• Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy and coating processes.
