Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Production Assembler on the 1st shift in Gloucester, MA. The role involves electro-mechanical assembly of RF generators and final configuration of components to meet customer specifications.

You will read blueprints and follow procedures, using soldering irons, screwdrivers, and hand tools on moderately complex assemblies. Pay is $23 per hour with full benefits, working 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic assembly and electro-mechanical assembly functions.
• Ability to read and understand (in English), blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings and written procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to operate machinery such as soldering iron, power screwdrivers, and various hand tools, etc.

Responsibilities

• Electro-Mechanical assembly of RF Generators for use in industrial settings
• Final configuration of externally produced components to meet customer specification
• Manufacture of PCBAs, cable assembles, cables harness, and power supplies
• Undertaking fault diagnosis with a view to ‘cure once’ – promote continuous improvement by sharing observations and knowledge with others, including manufacturing engineering, quality, and the design team
• Align with Health and Safety and 6S
• Lean principles within the manufacturing department
• Undertake cross-training as well as providing training to others in the department
• Work with limited supervision and follows written and verbal instructions
