Aerotek in Redwood City, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble complex electro-mechanical components and ensure quality across production.

The role requires reading schematics, soldering RoHS and non-RoHS, following GDP/GMP practices in an FDA-compliant environment, and using PLM Arena and Microsoft Office to document results. This contract-to-hire position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
High School diploma required.
Experience in ISO-regulated environments preferred.
Experience in a medical device company preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the quality of all tasks performed.
Demonstrate good soldering skills for RoHS and non-RoHS components and assemblies.
Follow work instructions in an FDA-compliant manufacturing environment.
Use standard hand tools and computer access effectively.
Maintain accurate records in GDP.
Audit and verify assembly kits in JIT and batch production environments.
Exhibit great organizational skills.
Log failure information related to electro-mechanical assemblies.
Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Enter production data and documentation into Arena PLM.
Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications.
Be flexible and willing to learn how to manufacture multiple product lines/customer builds.
