Energy Jobline ZR in Chelmsford is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build electro-mechanical products from engineering drawings. You will wire, test, crimp, solder, and inspect assemblies, using hand and power tools while following QA procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling electro-mechanical products, wiring, testing, and reading engineering drawings.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Skilled with wiring, crimping, cable assembly and mechanical build.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies per specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly.
• Prepare cables, crimp, solder, and wire components.
• Perform functional testing and inspection of assemblies.
• Identify and report defects or non-conformances.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production to meet targets.
