Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to perform mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You will follow technical drawings and use precision tools to ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience, English communication skills, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
• Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations.
• Perform quality work checks, identify product defects and record defects.
• Rework and/or repairs of assembled equipment and products according to engineering changes.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures.
• Operate in different work areas or with other production equipment based on certification and training.
• Troubleshoot and repair as needed on complex units.
• Complete vision examination post-offer as required.
