Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Mechanical Assembler to perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection of products at our Santa Isabel, PR location. Onsite role, relocation not offered, and U.S.

citizenship is required to access program information. You will read blueprints, operate hand and electrical tools, maintain workstation inventory, and perform quality checks to ensure product integrity.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information.

Responsabilités

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
• Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations.
• Perform quality work checks, identify product defects and record identified defects.
• Rework and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Operate on occasions in other work areas or buildings, other production equipment according to certification, experience and training.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs of critical and complex units.
• Have knowledge of SAP, MD04, MB51, CA03, CS03 at least (in areas that apply).

What You Will Do

• Maintain inventory of product in workstations.

• An essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods. You will be required to successfully complete a post offer vision examination.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
