Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for our Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico facility. The role involves mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection in standard and non‑standard environments to maintain workflow and product quality.

Residence in Puerto Rico is required at start; relocation is not offered. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, tool operation, inventory maintenance, quality checks, repairs per specs, and

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical training beneficial.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• U.S. citizenship or equivalent required for access to program/contract information.

Responsabilités

• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Operate hand and electrical tools; manage equipment and measuring devices.
• Maintain inventory at workstations; perform quality checks and document defects.
• Rework or repair assemblies per engineering changes.
• Adhere to safety standards and quality procedures; work in various related areas as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex units; use SAP-based processes for material tracking.
