Job summary

SP Industries Inc. in Gardiner, NY is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our team. The role focuses on electrical assembly and completing work orders to support on-time delivery, quality workmanship, and compliance with customer requirements.

You will interpret drawings, route and install electrical components in freeze dryers, test systems, and help identify cost savings and process improvements while maintaining a neat, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school graduate level.
• Ability to perform shop math.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• 5 years electro-mechanical building is ideal but not required.
• Able to work with voltages including 440 VAC.
• CGMP knowledge is a plus.
• PLC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble mechanical and electrical components under supervision.
• Interpret drawings, procedures, and documents to assemble components.
• Route, wire, assemble, and install electrical components in freeze dryers.
• Meet specifications and quality standards; track costs and suggest improvements.
• Assemble electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies with servos, motors, drives, and pneumatics.
• Use schematics and procedure documents to assemble components.
• Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical systems; assist with testing.
