Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler (B) for 1st shift in Glenolden, PA. Core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves assembling and testing components from engineering drawings and manufacturing docs, using tools to crimp, solder, and connect parts.

You will read schematics, mount components, perform in-process testing with meters, and contribute to continuous improvement in safety and quality within a team-based flow environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in electro-mechanical environment.
• ITAR: U.S. person required; no visa sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius considered.
• ITAR compliance applies to this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or test components from manufacturing documents.
• Use machines or hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt, rivet, solder, cement, or press-fit parts.
• Mount electrical components such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, ICs.
• Make electrical connections using soldering or related bonding procedures.
• Use multimeters and dielectric testers to in-process test parts.
• Assist in resolving production failures or product issues.
• Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Work in a team environment for flow assembly.
