Kelly Services is seeking an Assembly Worker to join a premier manufacturing client in Torrington, CT. You will perform electronic, electro‑mechanical, and mechanical assembly, following detailed instructions and blueprints to build components and sub‑assemblies.

You will use calipers, micrometers, and hand tools, set up equipment, and ensure tolerances per specifications while maintaining safety standards. The role requires lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for long shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Able to lift 25 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8 hours.
• Experience with welding and electronic/wiring assembly is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform electronic, electro‑mechanical, and mechanical product assembly on components, assemblies, and sub‑assemblies.
• Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and sequence travelers to perform tasks such as wiring, component installation, welding, and fitting.
• Set up and adjust equipment, hold tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Meet production quantity and quality standards in a safe manner per EH&S and OSHA requirements.
• Use electronic controls, hand tools, and quality measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Operate air pallets, forklifts, and overhead cranes as needed.
• Communicate positively with coworkers and managers; perform other duties as assigned.
