Eaton’s IS AER FED division in Glenolden, PA is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Assembler B - 1st Shift to build and test components from drawings and documentation. Core hours 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a starting hourly rate of $22.

The role involves using hand tools and machines to assemble, solder, and connect electrical parts, reading blueprints, performing in-process tests, and supporting continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency within a team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in electro-mechanical environment.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration for this position; limited to candidates within 50 miles of the work location.
• ITAR compliance requires U.S. person status (citizenship/permanent resident).
• Preferred: Associates/Technical degree; soldering and PCB experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components from work orders and drawings.
• Use hand tools and machines to crimp, solder, bolt, rivet, or press-fit parts.
• Mount electrical components such as transformers and capacitors.
• Make electrical connections using soldering or bonding methods.
• Use multimeters or dielectric testers to in-process test assemblies.
• Support continuous improvement for safety, quality, and efficiency.
