Job summary

Latitudeinc is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to assemble, wire, test, and inspect electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies. The role works from schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to build high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Multiple schedule options are available, including standard daytime hours and longer shifts with varied days. You will follow safety, ESD, and quality procedures while supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience assembling electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and work instructions.
• Proficiency with soldering (through-hole and surface mount as applicable).
• Maintain quality documentation and records per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.
• Wire components including connectors, cables, harnesses, and terminals.
• Solder components (through-hole and/or surface mount, depending on role).
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and inspection of assemblies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or process issues.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

This role involves working from schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to build high‑quality products in a fast‑paced manufacturing or production environment.

Work Schedule Options:

Option A - Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch (40 hours)

Option B - Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch OR 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 30‑minute lunch (40 hours) – Friday off

Option C - Tuesday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch OR 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 30‑minute lunch (40 hours) – Monday off
