Job summary

Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for our Santa Ana, CA manufacturing team. You will assemble and inspect electronic and electro-mechanical components, following detailed drawings, instructions, and documentation.

You will build wire harnesses, perform soldering, and conduct visual and functional tests while ensuring high quality and safety standards throughout production. Prior IPC/J-STD-001 training is a plus and punctual attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical or electronic assembly.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Detail-oriented with steady hand and precision.
• Familiar with IPC/J-STD-001 standards is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join the manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling and inspecting electronic and electro-mechanical components while following detailed production instructions and technical documentation.Key Responsibilities:Assemble electro-mechanical and electronic components using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment.Interpret and follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and other technical documentation.Build and route wire harnesses and related wiring assemblies.Perform soldering of wires, terminals, connectors, and electronic components as requiredConduct visual and functional quality inspections throughout the assembly process.Test completed assemblies to verify proper operation and conformance to specifications.Identify assembly issues and perform basic rework or adjustments when needed.Maintain accurate and consistent workmanship while meeting established production requirements.Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing guidelines.Qualifications:Previous experience in electro-mechanical, electronic, or manufacturing assembly preferred.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions.Comfortable working with hand tools and small components.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to troubleshoot basic assembly issues and perform rework when required.Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively in a production environment.J-STD-001 soldering training/certification a plusIPC training or certification a plusThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on assembly experience who enjoys working with electronic and mechanical components in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.Pay rate is $24- $26 per hour depending on experience and shiftShift available - 1st 6am to 2:30pmKPG123
