Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. in State College, PA, is seeking an entry-level Electronic Assembly Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. You will assemble electronic components, cables, and sensors using detailed work instructions and gain hands-on electronics manufacturing experience.

This 12-month contract position offers a Monday–Friday day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) with training provided. Ideal for those with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn, no prior soldering experience is

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, cables, and sensors using detailed work instructions.
• Perform hand soldering and basic bonding processes.
• Work under a microscope to complete precision assembly tasks.
• Read and follow diagrams, drawings, work orders, and assembly procedures.
• Conduct basic product testing and inspections.
• Maintain accurate production records using computer systems.
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and production standards.
