Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components into finished products and subassemblies
  • Install hardware, brackets, wiring, connectors, terminals, and other components
  • Perform soldering of wires, terminals, connectors, and electronic components
  • Complete wire preparation including cutting, stripping, crimping, tinning, and terminating
  • Use hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, crimpers, wire strippers, and torque tools
  • Read and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Fit, align, fasten, and secure components according to specifications
  • Perform bench assembly and detailed component installation
  • Inspect solder joints and assembled components for quality and workmanship
  • Perform basic rework, adjustments, and component replacement as needed
  • Verify completed assemblies are built correctly before moving to the next stage
  • Maintain accurate production and assembly documentation
  • Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
  • Maintain an organized workstation and meet daily production goals

Electronics & Manufacturing Assemblers — Multiple Openings

Looking for your next opportunity in electronics, assembly, soldering, or manufacturing? We are working with multiple companies throughout Suffolk County that are actively hiring Assemblers, Electronic Assemblers, Solderers, Wirers/Cablers, and other skilled manufacturing professionals. Opportunities range from entry-level assembly positions to experienced electronics roles, with room to grow your career.

Current opportunities may include:

  • Electronic and electromechanical assembly
  • Bench assembly and component installation
  • Soldering wires, terminals, connectors, and electronic components
  • Wire cutting, stripping, crimping, tinning, and termination
  • Cable and wire harness assembly
  • Installing hardware, brackets, wiring, connectors, and components
  • Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
  • Using soldering irons, crimpers, torque tools, hand tools, and small power tools
  • Inspecting completed assemblies and solder joints for quality
  • Basic testing, troubleshooting, rework, and component replacement
  • Working with SMT and other electronics manufacturing processes
  • Following production, quality, and safety procedures

We are looking for candidates with backgrounds in electronics, assembly, soldering, wiring, cabling, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or similar hands-on environments. Opportunities are available for different experience levels, and some employers are willing to train candidates who have the right assembly background and mechanical aptitude.

Compensation: Approximately $45,000–$70,000 annually, depending on position and experience Location: Multiple opportunities throughout Suffolk County, Long Island Schedules: Full-time opportunities available

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components into finished products and subassemblies
  • Install hardware, brackets, wiring, connectors, terminals, and other components
  • Perform soldering of wires, terminals, connectors, and electronic components

  • working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
