Job summary

Doble Engineering is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Application Engineer to join our Accident, Maryland facility. You will develop cost estimates, analyze BOMs and specs, and provide technical pricing guidance for standard and custom-engineered products.

You will collaborate across Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate quotes and profitable solutions. Ideal candidates have strong technical aptitude in electro-mechanical systems, hands-on problem-solving skills,

Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSME/BSEE) or related field.
Minimum 3 years in engineering, application engineering, manufacturing engineering, estimating, or related roles.
Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, schematics, and specs.

Responsibilities

Develop accurate cost estimates and quotations for standard and custom products.
Analyze customer requirements and engineering docs to determine COGs and labor/material costs.
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to support proposals and product development.
Identify opportunities to reduce cost of goods sold and improve process efficiency.
