Job summary

Knauf Insulation North America seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain AC/DC motor control equipment, install conduit, and work with PLCs. You will stay current with ladder logic and instrumentation diagrams while supporting process control loops.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with production. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, OSHA-vehicle license, and at least five years of heavy industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA Certified Powered Industrial Vehicle license required.
• Minimum five years of maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems (motors, conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to restore operations.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure optimal function.
• Work safely with electrical systems; read schematics and diagrams.
• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment (gearboxes, bearings, belts, pumps).
• Collaborate with production to address maintenance needs and support improvements.
