Shift Differentials:

• Sunday: $17/hr shift differential
• Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday: $2/hr shift differential

Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 6 pm - 5 am (with options for half or full day on Wednesday)

Location: Douglassville, PA

Position:

We are seeking an industrial maintenance technician (electro-mechanic) proficient in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and welding.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, or replace mechanical components such as motors, gearboxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and screws.
• Repair or troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders, valves, solenoids, and pumps.
• Identify and make hydraulic hoses as needed.
• Perform advanced welding and fabrication, including welding in various positions and joints.
• Operate shop tools like band saws, torches, drill presses, and grinders.
• Install new equipment, align machines using hoists, jacks, and hand tools.
• Use electrical schematics and multimeters/megger to diagnose electrical issues.
• Size components and cabling for electrical systems.
• Read and understand wiring diagrams; troubleshoot IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, and resistors.
• Set up and troubleshoot VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley).
• Handle interference fits and bearing heaters.
• Operate equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
• Test machinery, identify parts needed, and perform repairs.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery, including working at heights and using mobile equipment.
• Document and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• At least 2 years’ experience in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or relevant field.
• Proficient with power tools, measuring devices, and machining equipment.
• Experience with bearing heaters, interference fits, and removing seized bearings/shafts.
• Experience with stick and MIG welding; capable of fabricating and repairing welds.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including schematics and diagrams.
• Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems.
• Ability to use multimeter, megger, and test equipment.
• Experience with VFDs, sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.
• Ability to test electrical systems and circuits.
• Collaborative team player.

Education and Experience:

Electrical certificates or equivalent experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Able to inspect and monitor machinery, move throughout the facility, and work in tight spaces, at heights, or on ladders.
