Job Description

Shift & Differential:

• Saturday & Sunday: $17/hr shift differential
• Monday & Tuesday: $2/hr shift differential

Shift Hours: Saturday - Tuesday, 5pm-5am

Location: Douglassville, PA

Position:

We are seeking an industrial maintenance technician (electro-mechanic) proficient in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and welding.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components like motors, gearboxes, belts, bearings, etc.
• Repair hydraulic systems including cylinders, valves, and pumps
• Perform hydraulic hose assembly
• Weld in various positions, perform fabrication tasks
• Operate shop tools such as band saws, torches, drills, grinders
• Install and align new equipment using hoists, jacks, and hand tools
• Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and multimeters
• Size electrical components appropriately for new systems
• Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical circuits
• Set up and troubleshoot VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley)
• Work with interference fits and bearing heaters
• Operate equipment to perform maintenance tasks
• Test machinery, identify parts, and complete repairs
• Disassemble and install machinery, often at heights or in tight spaces
• Perform preventative maintenance and document activities
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Electromechanics or Industrial Maintenance
• Proficient with power tools, measuring devices, lathe/milling machines
• Experience with bearing heaters, interference fits, gearboxes, and seized components
• Welding experience with stick and MIG processes
• Ability to fabricate and repair with welding
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams
• Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems
• Proficiency with multimeters, megger, and test equipment
• Experience with VFDs, sensors, SCADA, HMI, PLCs
• Ability to test electrical systems and circuits
• Collaborative team player

Education & Experience:

Electrical certificates or equivalent experience preferred.

Additional Information

Physical Requirements:

Must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds. Able to inspect and monitor machinery, move throughout the facility, and work in tight spaces or at heights. Reasonable accommodations available.
