Job summary

Arena Technical Resources, LLC (ATR) seeks an Electrification Engineer in Oshkosh, WI, to support government-client projects under close supervision.

You will assist senior engineers with basic calculations, help prepare plans and reports, and design electrical parts to meet specs while considering cost and manufacturability. A bachelor's degree in engineering and US citizenship are required; 2+ years electrification experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 2 years of electrification experience.
  • Knowledge of basic engineering calculations and ability to support senior engineers.
  • US citizenship required as this supports a government client.

Responsibilities

  • Under close supervision, perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned according to Oshkosh as well as general industry engineering standards and processes.
  • Support senior engineers in the preparation of basic plans, designs, computation methods, and/or reporting.
  • Under close supervision, work on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers and other engineering/business support disciplines.
  • Under close supervision, design electrical parts and components to correct parameters and specifications while considering quality, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot or production builds, including resolution of problems in manufacturing.
  • Process engineering information through change notices, change proposals, and the creation of thorough print documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Regular attendance is required.

  • Under close supervision, design electrical parts and components to correct parameters and specifications while incorporating quality, cost reliability and ease of manufacturing.
  • Support senior engineers with basic and accurate calculations, analysis and investigation according to Oshkosh as well as general industry engineering standards and processes.
  • Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot or production builds, including resolution of problems in manufacturing.
  • Process engineering information through change notices, change proposals, and the creation of thorough print documentation.
  • Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field wtih 2 years of electrification experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5-10 years of exp, max 15 years of experience.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and controls software.
  • Familiarity with Controller Area Network (CAN)/SAE J1939 protocol.
  • Automotive High Voltage Training/Certification(s).
  • Power Electronics and Machines familiarity.
  • Energy Storage system familiarity.
