Job summary

Candela Systems in New York, NY is seeking skilled Electricians/Light Installers/Lighting Retrofit Technicians for full-time, long-term projects in NYC and the Tri-State Area. Must have 7–10 years of experience in electrical service, lighting retrofit, and controls; responsibilities include installing and upgrading lighting systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring NEC safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in electrical service and lighting installations.
• Experience with distribution panels and main service up to 5000 amps.
• Experience with 110/220/277/480V circuitry.
• Piping and wiring, including bending.
• Experience with lighting controls and retrofit projects.
• Must have own transportation, valid driver\'s license, OSHA 30 and SST certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade and retrofit lighting systems.
• Work with controls, ballasts, drivers and sensors.
• Ensure all work meets NEC electrical codes and safety standards.
• Deliver quality workmanship with attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot and resolve lighting and electrical issues.

Electricians/Light Installers/Lighting Retrofit Technicians

Now hiring full time, skilled & experienced Electricians/Light Installers/Lighting Retrofit Technicians for long-term projects located in NYC & Tri-State Area.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in:

• Electrical Service
  • Distribution Panels
  • Main service up to 5000 amps
• Circuitry
  • 110, 220, 277, 480
• Piping & wiring
  • Bending
• Lighting
  • Controls (dimming/programming)
  • Retrofit

• Install, upgrade and retrofit lighting systems.
• Work with controls, ballasts, drivers and sensors.
• Ensure all work meets NEC electrical codes and safety standards.
• Deliver quality workmanship with attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot and resolve lighting and electrical issues.
• Own reliable transportation to get to/from job site
• Complete set of tools to perform duties.
• Willing and able to work overnight and flexible shifts.
• Current OSHA 30 and Site Safety Training (SST) Certifications.
• Driver's license (preferably with no points).
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Pay

• $25-$35 per hour depending on experience.
