Apprenticeship Program

We offer a four-year NCCER-certified apprenticeship involving field experience and weekly classroom study (except summer). Graduates receive NCCER certification, enabling helpers to earn while they learn and advance quickly in the electrical field.

Job Responsibilities and Skills

• Use and care of basic hand tools and company tools
• Identify fasteners for specific uses
• Follow directions and think ahead
• Self-organization
• Install fixtures and devices with proper termination
• Bend and install single conduit up to 1 inch
• Follow layouts and install branch circuitry
• Attention to detail
• Plan, bend, and install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit
• Use ratcheting EMT benders on conduit up to 2 inches
• Install feeder conduits and gear following instructions

Minimum Experience and Physical Requirements

0-4 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work. Must lift 50+ pounds, work from ladders/scaffolds, overhead, and perform physically demanding tasks safely. Ability to work in varied climates and possess good balance, depth perception, eye-hand coordination, and stamina is essential.

Additional Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Pass a drug screening
• Own basic personal tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
