Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee is seeking Skilled or Entry Level Electricians & Electrical Assemblers for 1st and 2nd shifts with flexible hours. Hourly wage ranges from $17 to $25 depending on experience, with overtime available but not required.

Join a fast growing team building large steel and aluminum enclosures used in power generation. Responsibilities include pre-assembling electrical kits, light fabrication, handling materials, and supporting electrical equipment installations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and bill of materials.
• Willingness to learn GPC manufacturing processes.
• Able to read measuring devices such as tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Pre-assemble electrical kits from inventoried components and GPC fabricated components.
• Light fabrication work – drilling, forming, wire striping and crimping.
• Material handling.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Production Supervisors, and Team Leads.
• Support the installation needs for various electrical equipment.

1st & 2nd Shift Available with Flexible hours and Overtime Available but not Required.

Hourly Wage is $17-$25 and is based on Experience.

• Detail Orientated with the ability to learn to read blueprints and bill of materials
• Aptitude to learn GPC manufacturing processes
• Able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Highly motivated with a desire to learn and advance
• Able to communicate and work well with others
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
• Physically fit - able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
