Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking Electrical Assemblers for our Milwaukee, WI facility. This on-site role involves pre-assembling electrical kits from inventoried components and fabricated parts, along with light fabrication tasks such as drilling, forming, wire stripping and crimping.

Candidates should read blueprints and BOMs, read measuring devices (e.g., tape measures), troubleshoot efficiently, and work well with others. The position is temp-to-hire after the initial 3+ month period.

Qualifications

• Blueprints and BOM reading skills are required.
• Ability to read measuring devices (e.g., tape measure).
• Troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities.
• Detail oriented with a desire to learn and advance.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Pre-assemble electrical kits from inventoried components and fabricated parts.
• Perform light fabrication tasks: drilling, forming, wire stripping and crimping.
• Handle materials and assist in wiring and assembly workflows.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Production Supervisors and Team Leads.
• Support installation needs for various electrical equipment.
