Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in construction or related field.

Responsibilities

Job description

Work as electrician trainee to complete electrical installation and repair services in accordance with codes and regulations.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Repairs, installs, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances.
2. Uses hand tools and testing instruments.
3. Inspects and tests electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
4. Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamp.
5. Replaces faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems.
6. Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures.
7. Mounts motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications.
8. Able to install electrical conduit and wires. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes.

Required Skills:

1. Able to read a ruler and count money.

6. Have your own tools (minimum list will be provided).
7. At least 18 years of age.
8. Able to lift at least 75 pounds.

Position Type: Full Time - 40 Hours

Hours of Work: (Monday-Friday), 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
