Job summary

WestRock Company in New York seeks a skilled maintenance technician to install, repair, and maintain production equipment across the plant. You will perform on diversified duties, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related tasks to keep the line running.

The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing experience, fluency in English (Spanish a plus), and strong problem-solving skills. You must be able to read schematics, work independently or with a team, and follow safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in paper/converting
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
• Ability to read electrical schematics and PLC programs
• Able to perform physically demanding maintenance tasks
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Read and interpret manuals, orders, and PLC programs
• Program VFDs, drive programming, and conduit wiring
• Ensure safety and maintain clean, organized work areas
