Job summary

Foster Farms in Livingston, CA is seeking a Plant Electrician to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment in our chicken plant. This role requires reading blueprints, working with PLCs and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Plant Electrician or scale technician in a production environment.
• Knowledge of A/C variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Electrical test will be administered and utilized to determine the skill level.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work from a ladder.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends.
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.

Essential Functions

Pay Range: $27.25 to $41.75 per hour (based on experience).

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am).
