Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking a skilled Plant Electrician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical systems across our chicken plant. You will interpret blueprints, perform installations and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires three years' experience, knowledge of VFDs and PLCs, and the ability to work rotating shifts including weekends. Strong English communication and physical capability are essential for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience as a Plant Electrician or scale technician in a production environment.
• Knowledge of AC variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Electrical test will be administered to determine skill level.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work from a ladder.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and weekends.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Demonstrates accountability, collaboration, initiative, ownership and nimbleness.

Essential Functions

Pay Range: $27.25 to $41.75 per hour (based on experience).

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am).
