Job Description

Pay rate: $24.70 Per Hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Essential Job Functions
  • Performs routine chick hatchery equipment maintenance.
  • Responsible for parts inventory control.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Train and lead lower-level C and Training Mechanics as needed.
Qualifications
  • Must have minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
  • Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision while planning and directing preventative maintenance activities.
  • Must be able to maintain a parts inventory and organization.
  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.
  • Must have good communication skills, with ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Ability to work various shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must have good time management skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
