Job summary

Coolray Nashville is seeking a service-focused Electrician to join our team. We offer compensation packages ranging from $80,000 to $120,000, along with PTO, health, vision and dental, and a 401(k) with company match.

You’ll troubleshoot electrical systems, educate customers on upgrades, and document work with photos in a dynamic, customer-centric environment. Join a company with a legacy dating back to 1966, built on teamwork, safety, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years residential electrical wiring experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and install conduits.
• Experience with electrical system installation in new/existing settings.
• Detail oriented with good time management.
• Able to lift 75 pounds safely.
• Able to work outdoors in heat/cold and on ladders/roofs.
• Maintain a neat appearance and proper uniform.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently.
• Perform repairs and ensure compliance with National Electrical Code standards.
• Maintain a clean working area and protect customer loyalty.
• Educate customers on suitable upgrades and schedule work accordingly.
• Estimate and invoice repairs and projects.
• Document work with before/after photos.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and communicate with customers.
• Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

What Will I Do?

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently
• Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards
• Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
• Educating and offering the customer appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at scheduled time
• Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
• Document work completed with before and after photos
• Demonstrate Safe working practices and methods
• Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers

Do I have What it Takes?

• Minimum of 2 years residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System
• Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting
• Detail oriented with good time management skills
• Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device
• Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights
• Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes
