Summary

As an Electrician Journeyman on the Facilities Team, you will perform installation and maintenance of panel boards, switchgears, office lighting, receptacles, and associated equipment, analyze electrical malfunctions, and perform other duties as assigned, working on equipment up to 600 volts.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must qualify as a Journeyman Electrician
• Experience in reading construction prints, electrical drawings (for troubleshooting), and familiarity with motor controls and the National Electrical Code
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors
• Must live within a reasonable distance (1 hour) of headquarters
• Must meet and maintain DOT program qualifications
• Must submit most recent resume with your online application
• This position requires working with aerial equipment, with weight restrictions of 300 lbs or less

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial/industrial electrician experience
• APU/UPS systems and computer room operations experience
• Self-motivated, good communication skills, team-oriented, positive attitude, and high safety commitment

Additional Information

• Subject to out-of-town work
• Reasonable and necessary overtime may be required
• Qualifying tests may be administered
• The headquarters may relocate to the Hub West Service Center, 38 miles west of downtown Phoenix, at a future date
