Role Overview: This position does not require fluoroscopy or involvement in surgery.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call

Location: Deer Valley, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and explain procedures to ensure patient questions are answered.
• Use shielding to protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Perform x-rays following safety and care protocols.
• Document patient care in charts, import outside imaging, scan documents into EMR, and maintain QC logs and dosimetry badges as required by regulations.
• Ensure equipment functionality, maintain supplies, and report malfunctions.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of radiology experience, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
• Completion of an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Arizona State license from the Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners.
• CPR certification.
