Qualifications

• Five (5) years electrician experience is required.
• One (1) year electrician experience in a healthcare facility/environment is required.
• Valid FL Driver's License upon hire.
• Ability to work various work shifts and/or weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel between other Moffitt Cancer Center facilities.
• Evidence of a good driving record and maintaining a good record per Moffitt policy.
• Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local and CMS codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, clear and concise documentation for equipment problems and failures, including but not limited to, work order completion in the work order program.
• Maintains electrical-related equipment and procedure documentation manuals and supplies this information to the supervisor.
• Responds to emergency situations, including disaster response, power other utilities' loss, floods, etc. to limit effect on facilities.
• Demonstrates technical knowledge depth for electrical and associated systems according to standards established by management team.
• Assists with, oversees and/or inspects repairs or modifications performed by contractors.
