Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support critical building systems and ensure hospital operations run smoothly.

You will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot intercom, fire alarm, medical gas alarm, Translogic, and other electrical systems in a hospital environment. Training or experience requirements are specified, and the role requires physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical training on electrical power systems or five years of related work experience.
• Ability to understand technical instructions and coordinate with maintenance staff.
• Familiarity with NEC 70 National Electrical Code and building codes.

Responsibilities

Primary equipment responsibilities include; but are not limited to, intercom systems, fire alarm systems, medical gas alarm systems, Translogic controls, trash/linen chute controls, motor controls, lighting systems, electrical motors, emergency generators, power distribution normal/emergency systems, clock controls, uninterruptible power supply systems.
Shall have two (2) years technical training on electrical power systems or at least five (5) years work experience. Must be able to understand technical instructions, cooperate and coordinate work with other maintenance personnel or departments. Must be familiar with equipment and building codes and NEC 70 National Electrical Code. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, distiguish colors and sounds, bend, kneel, and communicate clearly.
