Job summary

Pilgrims seeks an Electrician for our Mt. Pleasant, TX operations. The role supports maintenance to keep plant operations safe, efficient, and reliable on the 2nd shift.

The ideal candidate has industrial electrical experience with strong schematic reading skills and 3-5 years of experience. Certifications in electrical trades are preferred to advance in this role.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience with strong schematic reading skills.
• 3-5 years experience preferred.
• Electrical certifications preferred (technical college or manufacturing).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant.
• Maintain electrical equipment through preventive maintenance procedures.
• Assist in implementing new control systems.
• Research and develop improved electrical controls and processes.
• Track recurring electrical issues and develop corrective solutions.
• Identify equipment weaknesses related to electrical systems and recommend improvements.
• Understand technical functionality of electrical equipment and train operators/technicians on operation and troubleshooting.
• Support maintenance personnel to ensure efficient production operations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
