Job summary

Ellenco Estágios e Treinamentos in Miami, FL seeks an Electrician Helper to learn under a licensed electrician, assisting with installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

You will help configure, install, and service electrical and solar components, manage materials, and follow safety rules and codes. Candidates should have a HS diploma, electrical training or apprenticeship, and be able to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Backgrounds in electrical technology or electrical construction via apprenticeship or formal degree program.
• Training workshops or courses in PV systems OSHA requirements and standards.
• All electrical interventions to existing electrical systems MUST be under ZERO energy presence.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record, if required to drive corporate vehicles.
• Able to travel and able to work overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist to configure, assemble, install, and maintain electrical systems.
• Receive, storage and distribute materials in a cost‑effective manner.
• Assess the environment, detects and mitigate any hazards associated with the installation.
• Assist in the installation of electrical and solar systems according to drawings, specifications, schematics and manufacturers manuals.
• Assist to install brackets, hangers, conduits, wire and electrical equipment altogether with an electrician.
• Assist to replace faulty breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components and wires during the absence of energy.
• Assist to prepare electrical trenches, equipment concrete pads and equipment supports.
• To follow safety codes and corporate safety program, manufacturer’s specifications and superior instructions.
• To follow the National Electric Code and Local State Regulations
• Assist to perform system commissioning; including visually inspection, mechanical testing and electrical testing.
• To perform the tasks in a timely manner.
