Job summary

Advanced Roofing in Florida is hiring an on-site electrical helper to support solar installation teams. You will assist electricians, drill holes, cut wires, and help with tool logistics on commercial and industrial projects.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of on-the-job training, a valid driver’s license, safety awareness, and the ability to lift 100 lbs and climb ladders. Travel statewide may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• 1–2 years on-the-job training in a similar role.
• Prior electrical experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Successful pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Checks electrical units for loose connections.
• Measures and cuts wires and conduits.
• Drills holes for electrical hook-ups.
• Assists electrician by providing tools needed on the job.
• Helps with daily power-downs and storage of equipment.
• Follows safety protocols.
• Installs solar modules, racking, wiring.
