AIREKO Companies seeks an Electrician Helper to assist licensed electricians in installing and maintaining electrical systems. You will learn on the job while contributing to PV projects and electrical installations under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background in electrical technology or construction via apprenticeship or formal degree is preferred.
• OSHA safety training is required.
• Zero energy presence is required for all electrical interventions.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record, if driving corporate vehicles.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring, assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical systems.
• Receive, store, and distribute materials cost-effectively.
• Assess environments to detect and mitigate hazards.
• Assist in installing electrical and solar systems per drawings and manuals.
• Install brackets, hangers, conduits, wires, and equipment with electricians.
• Assist in replacing faulty breakers, fuses, switches and related components.
• Prepare electrical trenches and equipment supports.
• Follow safety codes and the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Follow National Electrical Code and Local State Regulations.
• Support system commissioning with inspections and testing.
• Perform tasks in a timely manner.
