Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a helper with field experience in electrical trades to read diagrams, lay out wiring, install conduit and fixtures, and ensure safety on job sites.

The role requires lifting and using hand tools, following blueprints, and maintaining tools and equipment. Schedule is 5 eight-hour days; long-term position with no per diem. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment or follow diagrams.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit.
• Pull wiring through conduit with helper; splice wires; connect to fixtures and equipment.
• Install and connect control/distribution apparatus and grounding leads.
• Test circuit continuity and observe equipment operation for safety.
