Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an electrical helper in Wisconsin to assist with wiring installation, conduit work, and testing of electrical systems. The role requires reading diagrams, performing plan-driven work, and maintaining safety standards on site.

Responsibilities include installing wiring, conduit, fixtures, and control panels, with supervision. Candidates should have at least 6 months field experience and a willingness to learn in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months documented field experience in electrical work
• Ability to read and interpret instructions or diagrams
• Follows safety rules and project guidelines

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketches or follow diagrams to locate wiring and equipment.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit with hand tools.
• Pull wiring through conduit with assistance.
• Splice wires by stripping insulation and joining connections.
• Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
• Install control and distribution apparatus and grounding leads.
• Test circuit continuity with measurement tools.
• Observe equipment operation and address hazards or adjustments.
• Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment.
• Load, transport, and manage tools and materials.
• Maintain tools and color vision to differentiate components.
