Job summary

TIC – The Industrial Company is seeking an Electrician Foreman for a project located in Seminole, TX. The role involves leading and training crew members, ensuring safety, and delivering work on time according to plans and codes.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years as an Electrician Journeyman with Foreman/Lead experience in industrial or commercial settings, and are capable of coordinating resources on site and maintaining thorough reporting.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical (If applicable), and background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent with prior field experience or related area.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Observe and comply with safety and project rules; perform other duties as required.
• Proficient in safe and efficient use of electrical and hand tools, power tools, and layout/measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequence activities for assigned crew.
• Responsible for timely completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Ensure safety of crew and conduct operations according to company and government safety rules.
• Lead toolbox talks and communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules to leadmen and crews.
• Monitor compliance with company policies across the crew.
• Move about construction/industrial site; stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, kneel, crouch and crawl as required.
• Work in varied outdoor conditions; support irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays when needed.
