Job summary

Skillit in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a foreman-level electrician to lead on-site installation across commercial projects. You will supervise crews, read blueprints, lay out work to meet schedules, and ensure quality and code compliance.

Daily duties include enforcing safety protocols, conducting toolbox talks, coordinating with project management and other trades, inspecting workmanship, and troubleshooting electrical systems to keep jobs on track.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master electrician license or equivalent field experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70E arc-flash awareness training.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrician crews on active jobsites across the Phoenix metro.
• Plan and lay out electrical work to meet schedule, quality and code requirements.
• Enforce safety procedures and site-specific training; conduct toolbox talks and inspections.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications; verify installation against drawings.
• Inspect work, troubleshoot electrical systems and correct deficiencies.
• Communicate daily with project management, subcontractors and other trades to sequence work and resolve issues.

About this roleLead electrical crews on commercial projects across the Phoenix metro. You'll supervise on-site installation, layout work to meet schedules and quality standards, enforce safety and code compliance, and coordinate daily with project management and other trades. This role requires hands-on leadership in the field - managing crews, inspecting work, troubleshooting electrical systems, and keeping jobs on schedule.
