Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our fire business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, service, program, test, and inspect fire alarm systems
• Ensure equipment is functional and operational
• Diagnose causes of problems or failures in systems to identify repairs
• Replace system components such as panels, audible/visual alarms, etc.
• Provide technical support to customers, including remote diagnosis and troubleshooting of signal issues
• Interact professionally with customers
• Coordinate with manager and dispatcher to complete service and work orders efficiently
• Inform dispatcher and/or manager of the status of service calls

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 5+ years of fire alarm troubleshooting and system programming experience
• Customer service experience; fire alarm programming, Notifier, Gamewell/FCI, high-rise fire alarm panels
• Availability to work overtime
• Valid A, B, C, or D MA license
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
