Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Electrician/Electronic Technician in Wheeling, WV to install, maintain, repair, modify and test complex electrical/electronic equipment and systems under supervision.

The role requires knowledge of electronics, the National Electric Code, and ability to read schematics; a WV electrician's license or license within one year is required. Applicants should be prepared to work in environments with high voltage and physical demands.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or similar degree with four years of electric/electronic experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Must possess electrician's license from the state of West Virginia or acquire within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Inspects electrical work.
• Approves or disapproves work based on electrical codes, standards and regulations.
• Installs, repairs and maintains motors, lighting, traffic light controls, heating and cooling units, communication lines and/or other electrical systems and components.
• Operates testing equipment to locate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electronic failures.
