Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support campus facilities with electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. The role requires understanding electrical systems, reading schematics, and working safely in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, with potential shift work including evenings and weekends. A basic proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected, and a fire license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant professional commercial electrical experience.
• Fire License a plus.

Responsibilities

• Will perform a variety of electrical trade functions in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus and equipment, following specifications and schematics.
• Work on and troubleshoot AC/DC voltage related systems: 120/208/277/480.
• Perform all electrical & instrumentation maintenance including preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs.
• Detect faulty operations and report issues to supervision.
• Follow OSHA standards and maintain a safe working environment.

The building maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, and repair according to safety, productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives.
