Job summary

NANA Construction, LLC is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to work under a Journeyman Electrician across residential, commercial, and industrial sites in Alaska. The position requires enrollment in ABC Apprenticeship and being in the first year of the program, with willingness to travel within Alaska and operate under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Enrollment in the ABC Apprenticeship Program is mandatory.
• Must be in 1st year of apprenticeship.
• Must be able to travel throughout Alaska for project coverage.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain wiring for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
• Assist under supervision of Journeyman Electrician.
• Read diagrams/blueprints and install concealed wiring before finishing walls/ceilings.
• Install conduit, splice wires, and connect lighting fixtures and equipment.
• Install switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels and test for safety and compatibility.
• Travel to various Alaska sites to support construction projects.
