Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Enrolled in ABC Apprenticeship Program.
• Reliable transportation to work site and valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• The work is performed in existing or new residential, commercial and industrial buildings and includes street and highway lighting, traffic signal and other outdoor installations.
• Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
• New or modified installations to minimize waste and ensure future access, per codes.
• Follows diagrams or blueprints to install concealed wiring before finishing walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit; pull wiring through conduit.
• Splice wires and connect to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
• Install switches, relays, circuit-breaker panels; connect power cables; test safety.
• Observe equipment operation and perform repairs as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
