Job summary

NANA Construction is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to work under a Journeyman Electrician, installing and maintaining wiring systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings across Alaska. Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
Must be enrolled in the ABC Apprenticeship Program.
Must have reliable transportation to get to work site.
Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record for the past three years preferred.

Responsibilities

The work is performed in residential, commercial and industrial buildings including outdoor installations.
Plan layout, install and repair wiring, fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
New or modified installations to minimize waste and ensure maintainability and code compliance.
Follow diagrams or blueprints to conceal wiring before finishing walls, ceilings, and floors.
Test continuity of circuits and ensure safety with testing instruments.
Observe equipment operation and adjust, relocate or replace as needed.
Repair faulty equipment or systems and perform related duties as assigned.
