Job summary

NEXT Electric, LLC in New Berlin, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Pre-Apprentice Electrician under direct supervision to assist electricians and gain hands-on experience in electrical work. This on-site role involves running wire or cable, using power tools to drill for routing, installing basic components, delivering equipment to job sites, and following all safety policies.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with OSHA 30 or the ability to obtain it and eligibility for ABC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• OSHA 30 hour or ability to obtain.
• Pre-approval for ABC Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program or ability to obtain is required.
• Prior mechanical, farming or commercial electrical experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Wisconsin Registered Electrician License.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision assists electricians in performingelectrical work
• Runs wire or cable according to job specifications
• Uses power tools to drill holes for routing cable or wire
• Installs basic electrical components including receptacles, switches, etc.
• Delivers equipment to job sites
• Complies with all company/customer safety policies and procedures.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

OSHA 30 hour or ability to obtain

Pre-approval for ABC Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program or ability to obtain is required
