Job summary

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Pre-Apprentice Electrician in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Under direct supervision you will assist electricians in performing electrical tasks, run wire, install basic components, and deliver equipment to job sites in a safety-conscious team environment.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, OSHA 30 or ability to obtain, and be able to qualify for ABC Apprenticeship training in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• OSHA 30 hour certification or ability to obtain.
• Pre-approval for ABC Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program or ability to obtain.
• Prior mechanical, farming or commercial electrical experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain Wisconsin Registered Electrician License.
• Successful pre-employment background check, drug test, and MVR check when operating vehicles may be required.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision assists electricians in performing electrical work.
• Runs wire or cable according to job specifications.
• Uses power tools to drill holes for routing cable or wire.
• Installs basic electrical components including receptacles, switches, etc.
• Delivers equipment to job sites.
• Complies with all company/customer safety policies and procedures.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

OSHA 30 hour or ability to obtain

Wisconsin Registered Electrician License (ability to obtain)
